Meet Huey
Huey is a silly and curious hound who’s working on growing his confidence and learning to appreciate the great indoors. He grew up outside with 60 other dogs, and is happiest when he’s got a confident (and playful!) canine friend by his side. Huey had very little contact with humans in his first four years, so he is a dog who values his space, and may never ask for pets or snuggle up to his person. He shows his love in other ways, though – he will sniff, boop, and play with you, and look to you for guidance in new environments.
Huey grew up without much exposure to home life, so he’s still figuring out things like leashes, doorways, and stairs. He may shy away at first, but with some support and patience from his human, he will gladly explore new places and let his goofy side shine through. He’ll need some help settling in, but once comfortable, you’ll find Huey is a brave and lovable dog with a big personality and a great sense of humor!
