The MARVEL litter is ready for action! These pups have the superpower of cuteness and are saving the day with one wag at a time. These pups are proof that superheroes come in all sizes and that even the smallest of heroes can have the biggest hearts!
Meet Hulk Marvel - a 10 month old, Hound mix, who weighs approx 45 pounds (as of 1/19/25). We can't imagine how these cute puppies have been on our website for over 5 months without finding their families - how is that possible?
New UPDATE: Hulk is the sweetest, gentlest, most well-behaved all around good boy! He’s definitely more of a Bruce Banner than a Hulk so we’ve been calling him Banner. So far, he has learned sit, come, and his name plus he’s crate-trained. Better yet, he is completely potty trained and enjoys going outside in the New England snow. He loves the 3 resident dogs he’s staying with and enjoys playing with the youngest and cuddling up to the elderly one. Hulk hasn’t met any cats but he’s been non reactive to the goats and iguana. He just thinks everyone is his friend, people and animals alike. He lives with a bunch of teenagers but is so gentle and surprisingly calm that I’m certain he’d be the perfect family dog for kids of any age. Hulk/Bruce Banner is the perfect, move in ready, very good puppy that wants nothing more than lots of love (and tummy rubs and his kitty stuffy).
UPDATE from his Northern foster mom: We think Hulk is pretty incredible! He greeted us with gentle kisses and friendly tail wags. He enjoyed his car ride home and was well-behaved and very sweet. He met our three resident dogs and was happy to go for a hike with them. He can be a little zig-zaggy on a leash but doesn’t pull too much. He’s been doing his business outside with no accidents yet. He seems to enjoy his crate and knows that’s his space. He likes snuggling the stuffed kitty he picked out and keeps asking for tummy rubs. First impression is he could fit into any family that wants the perfect medium sized cutie pie all-around great dog!
Hulk has a sweet and gentle soul. It can take him a little bit to warm up to people but when he does, he is all in-he adores his humans!
Hulk is working on his leash walking skills and crate training. His southern foster has found the secret to hulk's heart is hotdogs which is a great motivator when training.
Hulk is a quirky funny sweetheart who will thrive and gain confidence in a calm home where the humans are patient kind and willing to dedicate time to training and establishing routines.
Hulk and his siblings are your typical playful pups. They were found as strays with their momma (picture attached for reference), who appears to be a Aussie / Terrier mix and weighs about 40 pounds. We're guessing her pups will be slightly larger than she is!
These pups are learning to love and trust! They had a sad beginning to life but now they are happy, healthy and well fed and ready to find their forever families. They love to play with each other and are amazing with kids! Since they are still young, they'll need families who are dedicated to training. Adopt a Marvel puppy today, and every day will be an epic adventure filled with MARVELOUS moments!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
