Are you ready to add a splash of sweetness to your life? Noah Lemonade is bursting with personality and a zest for life and is ready to start their life with a loving family! This boy has been overlooked for months because of his handicap and we know the perfect loving family is out there waiting for him!
Noah Lemonade is an almost 10 month old, Aussie / Boxer mix pup, who weighs 49 pounds (as of 12/9/24). This sweet boy is a chunky, wrinkly little angel who is blind. He is SUCH a happy guy and doesn't seem to mind that his senses are limited. He will need a loving and patient family who can learn to properly communicate with him. He loves smelling things and explores the world around him with his nose. We know the perfect family is out there, and Noah Lemonade can't wait to meet you!
UPDATE from his foster mom: Mr. Noah Lemonade is a playful, affectionate, and incredibly happy 10-month-old pup who may not be able to see the world, but he certainly experiences it with his heart. Though Noah is blind, he navigates his world with remarkable confidence and enthusiasm, using his other senses to explore and connect. His playful nature and affectionate personality make him an absolute joy to be around!
Noah loves to snuggle on the couch, play with his toys, and go on walks or hikers. He’s particularly fond of being with his people, following them around the house, and enjoying every moment of attention he receives.
This sweet boy is looking for a home that will be patient and understanding of his needs. For the most part, his needs are for his 9 month old puppy spirit, not for his special needs! He might need a little extra guidance when adjusting to new environments, he’s a fast learner and thrives with consistency and love. His tail never stops wagging when he hears familiar voices, and he’s always excited for his next adventure.
If you're looking for a devoted, happy-go-lucky companion who will brighten your life with his loving nature, Noah just might be the perfect match for you.
His new northern foster mom shares: "Mr. Noah Lemonade is just the sweetest pup! He loves everyone he meets and loves playing with other dogs! Within the first 24 hours he already showed us he knows to go potty outside, that the crate is a safe place for some quiet time, and that toys are the best things in the world - no matter what shape, size or sound they make! After scoping out our apartment, he already knows how to get around (with some minor bumps at times) and you wouldn’t know he was blind by his confidence and fun loving nature. He has been great with our resident dog. They play all day long and then snuggle up together for naps. He met a few other dogs on walks and loved every one of them. We can’t wait to see how this pup grows and learns. This guy is one of the happiest boys around!"
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
