Meet Mary Puppins Silly from the SILLY litter - a litter of 6 sweet pups who are about 1 year old (as of 2/1/25), and American Bulldog / Lab mixes. They came to us through owner surrender after their pup had an accidental litter. All pups weigh between 15 - 20 lbs (as of their last weigh in on 4/21/24).
The Silly litter are your typical pups with normal puppy energy! They are currently in foster care with multiple dogs of different sizes and do great with all of them. They love meeting new people - especially kids! They have not met any cats since being with us, but assuming they will probably be curious and want to play. They are working on potty and crate training and doing great.
Their southern foster shares: "These pups are SO cute! While they are only 13 weeks, we are already starting to see their personalities. Indiana Bones and Jimmy Kibble are the more outgoing and playful 2 in the litter. They both love meeting new people and are always up for going on adventures. LeBark James is more laid back and enjoys a good nap. He is definitely the couch potato in the litter. The 3 girls (Lady Dogiva, Mary Puppins and Lisa Vanderpup) are so sweet and on the timid/shy side, but they do enjoy being held and loved on. All 6 of these babies are so adorable, sweet and will make a great addition to any family."
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
