Meet Finn - an incredibly lovable Pointer/Beagle mix boy who is 5 1/2 months old and weighs 19 pounds as of 5/5/25. Can you even stand the cuteness of those ears?

Poor Finn was originally found abandoned on a country road in Georgia. He was so emaciated but immediately started to thrive in his southern foster home. He came north last week to an adoptive family and sadly someone in the household had a horrible allergic reaction to him. They are heartbroken that they can not keep him.

This boy loves everyone and everything! His family said he is absolutely perfect!!! Finn adores children so much and we really would love for him to go to a family where he could be around kids all the time. This is his happy place. And he is wonderful with dogs and cats too so he could be your one and only pet or add to your animal pack. He is the full package.

And just watch how wonderfully he already walks on a leash in the video.
He is doing great with training skills - he knows sit and is doing a great job learning that going to the bathroom is an outside activity.

If you are looking for a lot of love in a little package - we promise this boy will make your life Finn-Tastic! :)

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Finn, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] **

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
