Meet Luna Grace - a beautiful, 1 year old, Husky / Great Pyrenees mix, who weighs 60 pounds (as of 2/23/25). Luna Grace was previously living in a very loving home, where unfortunately they're no longer able to properly care for her due to a significant life change. We know this sweet, easy going gal will make her new family incredibly happy! She can't wait to meet you!

Her foster shares: "Luna Grace is a such a precious soul! She is loves her humans and is very easy going . Overall, she is a very chill girl. Everyone she meets loves her instantly and it's impossible to not love her big brown eyes. She loves to cuddle on the couch where she basically basically melts into a pile of mashed potatoes. She is just so gentle, squishy and very smart. She radiates love and kindness and is wonderful with all the dogs at her foster home and has a submissive personality. She also gets along with cats - you just have to keep her away from the litter box. She previously lived in a home with LOTS of kids, and she loved them all and was incredibly sweet with them. Also, despite being part Husky, she doesn't seem to be very vocal. Luna Grace is a very special dog who knows what it means to give (and receive) love! She enjoys her walks on the leash but is also happy to cuddle up with you! She will be an amazing companion or addition to a loving family."

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
