Meet Nova
This girl with the smushy face is Nova. She came to the shelter as astray from down South. Like any southern belle, she has beautiful leashwalking manners. She is also the politest of office buddies. Currently,Nova’s favorite thing is cheese. Any type of cheese. This pretty girlcan be nervous around new people or dogs. She is hoping for an adopterthat will initially keep her world small and safe as she settles into hernew life. Nova might be able to live with a calm, mellow dog. Orpossibly live with a cat using a slow introduction. Nova couldpotentially live with children if they can practice petting consent.

Stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center to meet Nova. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm- 4:30pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets.
Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
