Meet Luna Lavender Momma - a 1 year 10 month old, Bulldog / Terrier mix, who weighed 39 pounds (as of 1/23/25). This sweet girl was found with her young pups before entering our care. Her litter of happy & healthy pups have all found their forever homes - and now it's momma's turn!!

Her foster shares: "This sweet lady is ready to go! She raised her babies and is now looking for her new home. She is very gentle, sweet, and friendly. She can be shy at times, and very observant - and always curious about what is happening around her. She does well on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. She has no problems with strangers and is friendly with other adult dogs. She knows how to go outside with a dog door but will need her forever family to help her settle into her new home. She is just a fun and gentle lady who deserves a new place to call her own. She's so wonderful and needs a family who will love and spoil her!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
