I’m Alexia, the founder of YourDoggyMatch.com. The idea for this platform was born during a family trip abroad, where I was confronted with heartbreaking scenes of animal suffering — sunken eyes, emaciated frames, and meekly wagging tails. When I returned home, I realized that many dogs in my own community were also in urgent need of loving homes. In 2016, at just twelve years old, I was determined to make a difference and founded YourDoggyMatch. Since then, the platform has grown significantly, facilitating thousands of successful adoptions and helping dogs find their forever families. What began as a childhood mission has become a lifelong passion, dedicated to connecting people with their perfect canine companions.
